Hey, I'm Sarah!
I'm a wedding photographer based out of Guelph, Ontario serving all of Southern Ontario and Canada. I'm an introverted-extrovert who loves traveling with my partner equally as much as I love being a home body, snuggling up with our cats and a good show. I'm a foodie and artist - my background has always been in art, first drawing and painting which turned into a love of all things photography, especially wedding photography. I have a BFA in photography from OCAD University but have learned the most while out shooting. Now with over 10 years shooting weddings I'm happy to help my couples feel comfortable in-front of the camera, feel seen and celebrated on their special day, and be their authentic selves whose personalities come through in their photos.
My Approach
Instead of posing my couples, I have a series of prompts and games I play with my couples to bring out genuine emotions from belly laughs that make, your stomach hurt to more intimate moments, having some alone time to soak the day in. I encourage my couples to be silly, be present, and most importantly be their authentic selves. When we meet, most couples have no idea what they are supposed to be doing in-front of the camera. For some it comes naturally and they can't take their eyes off each other while others need a little direction. This is where I come in, I've got you! Whether it's a family photo wrangler, making sure your wedding party is looking good and having a fun time celebrating you or it's your time for photos - I feed off your energy and help bring out the most photogenic you. Rest assured that while I'm behind the camera I'll be capturing every candid, genuine moment of your special day for you to enjoy for years to come.
